Lantaw Nature Park


Punkay hill is a level-3 edifice for viewing called Lantaw Nature Park is an emerging park located in  Palompon, Leyte, Philippines where you can commune with nature and see eternity. It is also known for its wonderful bird's eye-view where you can see the whole Palompon.






Before you can reach the Lantaw park, you must first encounter the most challenging part which is the hiking. It is the interesting part because you can climb like a monkey using ropes which are tied up to be the visitor's guide for them to be in safe in hiking.

This is the highest area of the tourist spot in Palompon.

This is the best place for the nature lovers,  poets, and lovers because it feels so relaxing with the green surroundings. The place was surrounded by trees and other green plants. 

Lantaw Nature Park is the perfect place if you want to take a glimpse of the sunset.
You can see the entire Palompon.



Beside of its pleasing place, there are also cottages for those who want to take longer time, for picnics, or for those who are just even enjoying the day.



There are cottages for rent for only 100, 150 or 500 pesos and this can be for short stay or an overnight lodging.





These viewing decks are now free. For convenience, available for rent are chairs
 (10 pesos each) and tables (20 pesos each)

I you want  more fun while staying here; you can also visit the dead end at Lantaw Nature Park. Dead end are not only available in horror movies instead, it is also available at Lantaw Nature Park :)


Dream Under The Star
There are tents for rent with mattress, good for two P100 only. you can also provide your own pillow or blanket. If using your own tent, P20 per tile occupied.

  • Bring  water when you go there. Remember, you will going to hike if you don't have a car.

  • You can bring your own food.
  • No pets are allowed.
